Ingredients
Method
- Combine the crushed sandwich cookies and melted butter until the mixture resembles wet sand.
- Press the cookie mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish.
- Freeze the crust for 10 minutes to set the base firmly.
- Beat the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar in a large bowl until smooth and fluffy.
- Stir in the prepared espresso liquid until fully incorporated into the cream cheese mixture.
- Fold in half of the whipped topping gently to maintain the airy texture.
- Spread the mocha mixture evenly over the chilled cookie crust.
- Spread the remaining whipped topping over the mocha layer.
- Top with the remaining chocolate chips and chill for at least 4 hours before serving.
Notes
Chilling for the full 4 hours is critical for the layers to set properly and slice cleanly. Ensure your cream cheese is completely at room temperature to avoid lumps in the filling.
