Ingredients
Method
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Grease your pie dish thoroughly.
- Toast the chopped pecans in a dry pan over medium heat for three minutes until fragrant and set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the brownie mix, eggs, and oil until the batter is smooth.
- Pour half of the brownie batter into the bottom of the prepared pie crust.
- Drizzle half of the caramel sauce and sprinkle half of the toasted pecans over the batter layer.
- Spread the remaining brownie batter evenly over the caramel and nut layer.
- Bake for 35 minutes or until the edges are set and firm.
- Remove from oven and drizzle the remaining caramel and sprinkle the remaining pecans over the top of the pie.
- Allow the pie to cool completely before slicing and serving.
Notes
Ensure the caramel sauce used is thick enough to hold its shape. Store any leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days or in the refrigerator for up to a week. You can warm slices slightly before serving for a gooey texture.
