Ingredients

  • 3 large Honeycrisp or Granny Smith apples, peeled and diced
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1.5 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup packed brown sugar

Method

  1. Peel and dice the apples into uniform small cubes.
  2. Sauté the apple cubes with brown sugar and cinnamon in a skillet over medium heat until tender.
  3. Remove the apples from the heat and allow them to cool completely.
  4. Beat the softened cream cheese with a hand mixer until smooth.
  5. Fold the whipped heavy cream into the cream cheese mixture until combined.
  6. Place the cheesecake mixture into a piping bag.
  7. Layer graham cracker crumbs into the bottom of 6 glasses.
  8. Pipe a layer of cheesecake mixture over the crumbs.
  9. Add a layer of the spiced apples.
  10. Repeat the layers and finish with a sprinkle of crumbs.

Notes

Chill your mixing bowl before whipping the cream for better volume. Ensure apples are fully cooled before assembly to prevent the cream from melting.
